The Promise of Multimedia

Multimedia computer applications abound, and many of us know how common presentation software contains a plethora of multimedia tools. But do they improve learning, or is multimedia all show? Tom will present research that demonstrates the value of multimedia in education, and will explore best practices for using multimedia in presentations.  As always, dessert will be provided!
