Why not use PowerPoint to enhance your lectures?

PowerPoint can help students learn.  First, it is a nice supplement to a lecture and adds needed variety.  Second, even if you don't want to use it in your classroom, presentations can be distributed to the students allowing them to review lectures from home.  After only 50 minutes you will be able to create a PowerPoint presentation!  All the basics of getting started will be covered.  If you are self-taught you may consider attending (many users are surprised to learn there is an easier way of doing something).   You are welcome to bring your own PowerPoint projects to work on with TLC staff after the workshop is over.  As always, dessert will be provided!
